Studio 426 is a classy and comfortable studio for two. Wood ceilings provide rustic warmth, perfect for celebrating the surrounding mountain environment, while the furnishings are modern and eclectic to keep things interesting!   The studio is less than one mile to Oakhurst, six miles to Bass Lake, and 17 miles to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park.

This large studio has plenty of seating and space to spread out, a kitchenette with small refrigerator, hot plate, coffee pot, and kettle to make and enjoy simple meals together in your room. Studio 426 shares the property with Bungalow 426 which can be booked separately if booking for a larger party. The studio has its own private entrance and the only shared space between the two is the small backyard space.

Please note that the home is on one of the main streets heading away from town. If you are noise sensitive this may not be the right home for you. However, it is surprisingly quiet inside the home and not much noise is heard in the bedroom area or the main living areas when the windows are closed. A white noise machine is provided for your comfort. If on the porch you will hear cars driving by.

Amazing AIRBNB!

AMAZING AIRBNB!!! Booked this beauty for my boyfriend's surprise birthday weekend and had an amazing time! It felt like a home away from home. I wanted to find something that was between heavy duty camping and a hotel. Although we were in a neighborhood, we definitely felt the camping vibes. 30 mins from the Mariposa Grove entrance and tons of good restaurants around. Her bungalow was vacant so we really felt secluded and cozy. Definitely would come back with my family and rebook and get the studio and bungalow.

Great Studio Spot

Great studio spot, very clean and accommodating for a simple set up and stay. Surprisingly very spacious and very well designed interior. Location is very central, less than 10 min from any groceries, gas, or restaurants you need, especially if you are coming in and out of Yosemite Valley like we were. Kim is quick at responding.

100% Recommend

Kim is such a great host! She wrote clear instructions, kept in contact, messaged back quickly to our questions; all in all a wonderful host. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Oakhurst is only 30 mins from the southern entrance of Yosemite & only 10 mins from Bass Lake. There was many delicious restaurants around the city as well! Studio 426 is such a cute, comfy, & clean little studio! We went in early September, weather was in the 97-100 degrees. The AC held up perfectly. The studio did not disappoint. It was exactly as described in the listing & pictures. There is a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, pots, and a coffee maker. I would 100% recommend this place to family & friends

Super cozy

Kim's place was super cozy. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch and it was the perfect place to stay just about a half hour drive to entrance of Yosemite. There were supplies for us to cook simple meals and very quick access to restaurants and grocery stores. I beleive they were in the process of finishing decorations, so there were no blinds or curtains on the window above the bed, which made it difficult for sleeping in and feeling private. Although I'm SURE this isn't how it always is. I would definitely recommend for couples looking for a quiet place for a shorter stay.

So Cute!

This place is so cute! It has really great decor and everything is new. It's a great location to get to Yosemite and there are some good neighborhood spots (a brewery and a decent Italian restaurant) so you can have a nice evening out. Kim is really communicative and the checkin/checkout experience is seamless and easy.

We will be back!

Studio 426 is a cute space not too far from Bass Lake. We really enjoyed using the kitchen, the backyard and found ourselves pausing to admire the decor. Cleanliness is huge for us and Kim did not disappoint. The only thing we missed when making the reservation is that the bathroom walls don't go up to the ceiling. It's noted on the photos in the post but not in the description. That was a surprise when we arrived but since we're a couple we got over it really fast lol. I would recommend this cozy spot to any couple seeking a weekend getaway. We will be back! Thanks Kim!
