Welcome to Bungalow 426!   Curated with fun in mind and a desire to inspire, this funky little bungalow is sure to satisfy the traveler looking for something unique, comfortable, stylish, and close to it all.

Bungalow 426 is less than one mile to Oakhurst, six miles to Bass Lake, and 17 miles to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park which makes it the perfect location for day trips to all this area has to offer. This round brick house is a one of a kind!  AND we are offering NO CLEANING FEE!

Not only is the home decorated in an Anthropologie Boho style but it is a mini art gallery as well! Inspired by my own travels, learning, and interests in history, art prints and curiosities are sprinkled throughout the home for your enjoyment. I very much look forward to sharing my home with you.

Things of importance to note prior to booking:

There is WIFI at the property but there is currently no TV in the Bungalow. Bring your personal devices if you would like to watch movies or participate in other things that require a tv.

There are some windows in the home that do not have window coverings. The front door, one in the living room, one in the bedroom along the back wall, and the french doors leading to the private fenced yard. Please be sure this is ok with you prior to booking!

The property is shared with Studio 426. They are two separate units which may be booked at the same time if available. There is a small common area backyard.

Parking is limited at Bungalow 426. If you are staying at just The Bungalow please see the parking picture for location to park. Parking elsewhere will block the Studio guests from access. If you rent both spaces you are welcome to park in front of both units.  Please note that the home is on one of the main streets heading away from town. If you are noise sensitive this may not be the right home for you. However, it is surprisingly quiet inside the home and not much noise is heard in the bedroom area or the main living areas when the windows are closed. A white noise machine is provided for your comfort. If on the porch you will hear cars driving by.

This bungalow is absolutely adorable!! It has a chic, boho decor which I love, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also only 20 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite national park. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family

Colorful space

My friends and I had an amazing time in this adorable bungalow. There was so much natural light, the bed was very comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own healthy food. Most of all, the colorful space with carefully chosen artwork was fun to explore and discuss. We stayed here while we visited Yosemite, so it was the perfect vibe to come home to after a long day. Our only discomfort would be the lack of privacy. The neighboors were often in eyesight and there were not curtains to cover all of the windows when we wanted to feel secluded. We felt safe, but as 3 women, we would’ve felt safer with some more window coverage. Other than that, we recommend this unique space as we had a wonderful time making it our home for a few days

Clean and comfortable!

The bungalow is lovely and in a great location for folks who are interested in visiting Yosemite! There was a minor problem with ants during our stay, but Kim was very quick to respond to it. Aside from that, it is a clean and comfortable place to get away for a bit!

Great stay!

Great stay! Super cute Anthropologie inspired interior design, and communication with Kim was great as she was always super responsive. Lots of wildlife that will come by to say hi (deer, rabbits, etc.) which was cool. Location is the only downside to this place as the bungalow is right next to the main road so not super suitable for light sleepers and/or families with young children.

Definitley Recommend!

You have done such a wonderful job decorating, everything was adorable. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was so spacious. The pretty couch was the perfect place to lay our suitcases! The air conditioner kept the bungalow nice and cool, and at the perfect temperature. Everything was clean and we would definitely recommend the bungalow to friends visiting the Bass Lake area! Thank you for adding to our vacation fun!

Cozy and clean

Cozy and clean space outside of Yosemite. This is the perfect stay if you’re not a fan of camping or simply booking a last minute trip to Yosemite. It’s close to stores and restaurants so you don’t feel completely off the grid. The design has a feminine and devine energy. As a virgo celebrating her bday there is was fitting.

The location is great for visiting Yosemite.

The location is great for visiting Yosemite. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa in the room was also very comfortable to sleep on. There are plenty of towels and linen. Everything was clean and functional. The only thing to watch out for is the parking. We thought we had parked in the right spot according to the picture but was told by the neighbor to drive off the road into the front yard. Kim was very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to book with Kim again.
