Welcome to Bungalow 426!   Curated with fun in mind and a desire to inspire, this funky little bungalow is sure to satisfy the traveler looking for something unique, comfortable, stylish, and close to it all.

Bungalow 426 is less than one mile to Oakhurst, six miles to Bass Lake, and 17 miles to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park which makes it the perfect location for day trips to all this area has to offer. This round brick house is a one of a kind!

Not only is the home decorated in an Anthropologie Boho style but it is a mini art gallery as well! Inspired by my own travels, learning, and interests in history, art prints and curiosities are sprinkled throughout the home for your enjoyment. I very much look forward to sharing my home with you.

Things of importance to note prior to booking:

There is WIFI at the property but there is currently no TV in the Bungalow. Bring your personal devices if you would like to watch movies or participate in other things that require a tv.

There are some windows in the home that do not have window coverings. The front door, one in the living room, one in the bedroom along the back wall, and the french doors leading to the private fenced yard. Please be sure this is ok with you prior to booking!

The property is shared with Studio 426. They are two separate units which may be booked at the same time if available. There is a small common area backyard.

Parking is limited at Bungalow 426. If you are staying at just The Bungalow please see the parking picture for location to park. Parking elsewhere will block the Studio guests from access. If you rent both spaces you are welcome to park in front of both units.  Please note that the home is on one of the main streets heading away from town. If you are noise sensitive this may not be the right home for you. However, it is surprisingly quiet inside the home and not much noise is heard in the bedroom area or the main living areas when the windows are closed. A white noise machine is provided for your comfort. If on the porch you will hear cars driving by.

We had a lovely experience at Kim's place and it is conveniently located to access the south entrance of Yosemite. We weren't too concerned about the lack of curtains covering the front glass door as the area itself felt very private. It did feel a little drafty on our first night but we didn't feel it so much on our second night. Kim was a swift communicator on the two occasions we did reach out. Overall, a cosy, unplugged experience.

So many good things!

So many good things to say about this stay. The style was super cute & location was great. Kim was an amazing host. I really loved how she responded so quickly to my messages, just made things so much easier for me. My best friend and I couldn’t stop talking about how clean and comfortable the bed was. There’s only one thing I didn’t like during our stay and that was the window curtains. The curtains near the kitchen and living room area were super see through. It was just my friend and I so we were a bit paranoid on who was able to look inside during the night time while the lights were on. Felt safe but would have felt safer with window shutters or something. Other than that everything was good. I would def stay here again

Perfect Location

Kim’s bungalow is at the perfect location as the base to enjoy Yosemite. The Oakhurst location ensured that we did not have a long drive before enjoying Yosemite. The bungalow is clean, beautifully decorated and very close to the town. So we were able to get some essentials easily. We will definitely stay at Kim’s next time we visit Yosemite.

Kim was an amazing host, super communicative and welcoming. she went above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and even added a few things to the space to make it even more welcoming and cozy. it was an amazing place to celebrate our engagement and my fiance's birthday, 10/10 would recommend.

This bungalow is absolutely adorable!! It has a chic, boho decor which I love, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also only 20 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite national park. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family

Colorful space

My friends and I had an amazing time in this adorable bungalow. There was so much natural light, the bed was very comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own healthy food. Most of all, the colorful space with carefully chosen artwork was fun to explore and discuss. We stayed here while we visited Yosemite, so it was the perfect vibe to come home to after a long day. Our only discomfort would be the lack of privacy. The neighboors were often in eyesight and there were not curtains to cover all of the windows when we wanted to feel secluded. We felt safe, but as 3 women, we would’ve felt safer with some more window coverage. Other than that, we recommend this unique space as we had a wonderful time making it our home for a few days
