Second time staying here!

This is our second time staying here and we love it. The location is great, it is fully stocked, has a lot of comfortable sleeping areas and a great deck.

Highly Recommend

The Collins Cabin is a perfect place to stay for recreation at Bass Lake or a respite from traveling into Yosemite NP. It's only 30 minutes drive from the cabin to the south entrance of the park. Lots of space for relaxing and a great screened in porch with ping pong, table games and laundry facilities. It's on a narrow steep road, with a steep driveway, and there are stairs to the front door, so you need to work to get inside. But once inside it's so comfortable! From the front door to the lake is a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this place! 7 of us spent a weekend there and never felt crowded or bored. One thing to be mindful of is that this is a cabin... though roomy, the wood floors do creak when walking around, so you can hear movement from downstairs. If you're traveling with children, put them upstairs so you know when they're awake, or anyone else upstairs for that matter ;)

Great View!

Spent a couple days here and had a great time! Place was really nice and big enough for our whole group. Loved hanging out on the deck grilling and enjoying the view. Would definitely come back again.

Just as described. Really nice neighborhood and super close to the lake. The beds were really comfortable and the response to questions was very fast. My family had a great time. Definitely recommend.

Quick walk to the lake

Such a beautiful place as soon as we walked in it felt very homey and very soothing. If your planning on going during winter I would definitely recommend taking extra warm clothes as nights are super cold. Over it was amazing and a quick little walk to the lake!

Great Place for a Family Vacation

Great place for a family vacation! We enjoyed the ping pong, BBQing on the deck, there was snow in the backyard and the owners were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

Very Pleasant Stay

The house is very cozy, clean and well kept. The stove was more than enough to heat the house sufficiently. We had some wood provided and then we also brought our own, although we had quite abit leftover because we didn’t need near as much as we thought we would to stay warm. In fact at certain points we ended up opening the door to let a-little cool air in because the house was so warm. Only about a mile to the Pines village for groceries and whatnot. Communication with the host was very good, they replied to any message we sent within 20 minutes or so. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.
