Moosehead Lodge, Bass Lake, Ca

This is a beautiful home. Kim is a fantastic host. I would recommend this beautiful home to everyone and revisit again myself.

Moosehead Lodge is incredible and Kim is a fantastic host. The location offers a feeling of getting away, while still being close enough to explore Yosemite, head to Bass Lake or venture into Oakhurst. The lodge is beautiful- love, love, love all the wood!! Beds are super comfy with great views from every room. Had a warm bath in the claw foot tub- who doesn’t enjoy a good soak while reading a good book?! The kitchen has everything you could possibly want and a great table to sit and enjoy a wonderful meal or play a friendly game of UNO. If that weren’t enough, I’ve never experienced a more comfortable couch- and it’s HUGE. Seriously, after taking a nap on this couch I really considered trading the bed for a night on the couch (and that’s saying something). For luxury, location and living large the Moosehead Lodge can’t be beat and shouldn’t be missed!!!!

Kim’s home was absolutely beautiful, the perfect space for a weekend getaway. Kim has completely undersold the amenities available for use, specifically in the kitchen which was perfectly stocked. Additionally the overall space was much larger than the pictures show. We will absolutely look to book future trips to Moosehead Lodge.

Our family enjoyed this cabin so much ! It’s so cozy ! Kim was so amazing she kept in touch since day one . Our family will definitely be back soon.

I have been searching for years to find this truly amazing log home. The pictures are exactly what you get but seems more cozy once inside. The craftsmanship and thought and design that went into this home is very impressive! As soon as I walked into the front door, I was greeted with massive logs and soaring ceilings! I couldn’t stop smiling and I felt so at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the evenings, sitting on the couch, tv off, and laughing and playing games! No one wanted to be on their phones because we were all enjoying the time we had together. Even my older teenagers were just happy hanging out with the adults, sharing stories or playing 20 questions. We planned every meal to be cooked at the cabin and it was a great time! The kitchen was big enough for many of us to be moving around the island while snacking or preparing meals. If you really like your family and friends, THIS is the place you want to be with them! The bedrooms are so charming and well thought out. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were plenty big. The views are very great and the cabin is surrounded by oaks and a variety of Sierra Nevada foliage. But the thing I appreciated most was Kim, the owner! She was the most kind and responsive person to my dozens of questions I sent through the booking process and after! When you get a person who treats you so kindly, it feels like her home is your home. So, as I sit back home, all I can think of is, WHEN CAN I GO BACK?!!!!!! You won’t be disappointed!

Very beautiful and relaxing getaway. Great option for a peaceful vacation. Great for large groups.
